Dr Barbara Weiss, HBBA, ND is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine's four-year postgraduate program in Naturopathic Medicine. She is also a Certified Bowen Therapist. Upon graduation, Barbara was awarded the President's Award for "professional courage and vision for the profession", the Botanical Medicine Award, and the Naturopathic Honour Award.
Barbara serves as Chair of the Board of Governors for the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has been actively involved with the Board for the past nine years as a board member, Vice-Chair, and Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee. She is a regular speaker for the Canadian Liver Foundation and has been featured in Best Health Magazine, The Globe & Mail, and Canadian Healthcare Network - the online journal for The Medical Post and Canadian Healthcare Manager.
Barbara has a private practice in Toronto and Port Hope, Ontario where she focuses on women's health, digestive disorders, stress related disorders, and environmental medicine.
