Dr Peter Alphonse is the Chief Science Officer and Vice President Operations & Regulatory Affairs at Nutritional Fundamentals for Health Inc. Dr Alphonse received his PhD in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba and is a certified food scientist. He has a breadth of scientific and regulatory experience in natural health products, functional foods, clinical trials and product development.
He works in close collaboration with cross-functional teams on Health Canada, CFIA and USFDA regulatory compliance, product innovation and formulation, clinical research, natural product research, sourcing, quality assurance, analytical testing and marketing to implement key processes and product improvements.
He is a recipient of a number of awards, co-inventor in 4 different patent applications and has research publications on natural health products and novel processes and technologies.
